My good friend Vit and his wife Ria asked me to shoot with them in this event held at Le Pavillon Metropolitan Park. An event that can rival sunday’s variety shows in term of venue, sophistication, and detailed stage decors, celebrity host and performers, and big big prices (watch out Wowowie and Eat Bulaga). And the people of Toyota are such a great audiences and fun participants of these special occation.

Kawasaki Dominate (12.7.08)

An event by Kawasaki Philippines featuring a body painting contest, a jacket design contest, a dance contest and a model search contest held at Matket Market. This event was held Dec. 7, 2008, awts, the date the Filipino Pound for Pound King Manny Pacquaio fights The Golden Boy Oscar Dela Hoya. During the shoot, there were text messages roaming around that Manny have been beaten and knocked out by Oscar. Makes the shoot hard LOL, Jonathan Cayaon (fellow photographer of the event and a good friend) and I are so anxious about the outcome of the fight but we maintain our focus on the job in front of us.

Paul and Aiza’s Wedding (12.6.08)

Just after RJ and Marie’s wedding, I hopped on a bus, traveled to San Pablo City for Paul and Aiza’s big day. I arrived at around 2am, my fellow photographer Natt Halili, videographer Mike Carillo and my brother Alex, who arrived earlier picked me up at San Pablo Plaza. We stayed at the beautiful Starlake Resort where the reception will take place. After some camera cleaning and battery charging… and 2 bottles of beer, I slept for about 2 hours (wish I had more with that morning’s 14 degree weather), woke up and ready for this wedding. Wheww, a photographers life =).
